  • Potlucks. Plan fellowship meals for visitors periodically. You can also plan a larger fellowship meal for the whole church to come together.
  • Social activities. Plan numerous activities on a regular basis, such as basketball, volleyball and ping pong to draw a crowd of young people, both church members and non members. Another idea is to run a pinewood derby circuit through the year with six races. These are excellent ways for parents and children to fellowship together. Start a book club, go paintballing, organise camping trips. Include young people in the planning process.
  • Home Invitations. Make sure church members take interest in the young adults and invite them to their homes for Sabbath Afternoon. This is where younger generation can connect with the older generation, and friendship and understanding can blossom.
